ALEXANDRIA — Wayne L. Uhlenberg, 69, of Burns Hill Road, passed away at his home on Aug. 26, 2025.

Wayne was born on Oct. 6, 1955, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, the son of Harvey Uhlenberg and Muriel (Dutile) Couture.

Wayne enjoyed watching NASCAR. He was meticulous in keeping his prized vehicle in great condition. He was a dedicated employee, working for Irwin Motors for over 20 years. He was a devoted and selfless soul who gave endlessly of himself for the happiness of family and friends.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Megan Hill and her husband David; his mother Muriel Couture; sisters Cathy Catledge and her husband Tom and Pamela Woods; half-sisters Stephanie Beams and her husband Tom, and Joanne Welch and her husband Kevin; many nieces and nephews; and his loving partner of many years, Stephanie McComas. Wayne is predeceased by his father, Harvey Uhlenberg, stepfather Leo "Joe" Couture, brother-in-law Robert Woods and nephew Brandon Woods.

There will be no calling hours.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia.

Burial will immediately follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia.
