Walter Joseph Lewis, 90, passed away peacefully at Peabody Place, Franklin, on Oct. 8, 2025. Son of Leslie and Lillian (née Plotkin) Levi, he is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kathy (née Kraus) Lewis. Walter is also survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Kirk Lewis (Melissa), Mitch Lewis (Paula), Chad Lewis (Kim), and Keith Lewis (Laura), grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Walter was born May 26, 1935, and spent his early adolescence in New York. He attended Admiral Farragut Academy, then joined the U.S. Navy after graduation. In 1970, Walter moved his family to New Hampshire where he continued to reside until his passing. A private celebration of life is planned.
