MEREDITH — It is with sincere sadness that we announce the passing of Traci Weeks-Hoyt, a beloved mother, devoted wife and caretaker, and a cherished friend who left us peacefully on April 24, 2025, at the age of 52.
Born in Plymouth, to the late Gary Weeks Sr. and Carol (Armstrong) Weeks, Traci graduated from Inter-Lakes High School in 1991. She was hardworking and heartfelt, making connections everywhere she went with her wit and charm. Traci had a passion for gardening and caregiving. She pursued her passion in the healthcare industry.
Traci was the true definition of love in action. A deeply dedicated and giving soul, she spent most of her life nurturing those around her with her time and her heart. As a mother, she poured endless love into her children, always putting their needs before her own and guiding them with strength and wisdom. Her greatest joy was found in their laughter, their stories and the simple everyday moments they shared together.
As a natural caregiver, Traci extended her compassion beyond her family. Whether tending to love ones in need or offering a comforting presence to neighbors and friends, she embodied selflessness and grace. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and kindness.
A garden was a place where she connected with nature and found peace. Her garden, always in bloom, reflected her spirit — vibrant, nurturing and full of life. Each flower is a testament to her patience and care.
Traci leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, generosity and unwavering dedication. She will be remembered not only for what she did, but for how deeply she cared, for her family and the world around her.
She is survived by her husband Erik Hoyt of Meredith; son Brandon Eldridge of Center Harbor; daughter Hailey Eldridge of Meredith; daughter Peyton Hoyt of Meredith; brother James Thomas Jr. and wife Cindy of Meredith; brother Gary Weeks Jr. and wife Melissa of Meredith; sister Vicki Gallagher and husband Michael of Meredith; her nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Gary Weeks Sr. and mother Carol (Armstrong) Weeks.
