Robin Elizabeth Sayles, 69, of Alton, passed away on Feb. 24, 2026, at her home of natural causes. She has been reunited with the love of her life, her husband Ronald E. "Soupy" Sayles Sr.
She was born on Dec. 25, 1956, in Woburn, Massachusetts, daughter of Forrest Rudolph and Judith (Amaral) Rudolph. Robin graduated from Linwood High School in Lincoln. She dedicated 28 years of her career as a licensed nursing assistant (LNA) at Havenwood, providing care and compassion to those in need.
She is survived by her son, Jason L. Sayles and wife Cindy; her brother, Kenneth "Kenny" Amaral; her six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her cousin, Jay Amaral; and her dog Valerie. She is predeceased by her parents, her son Jarrod Sayles, her brothers Mark Rudolph and Scott Rudolph, and her sister Dixie Rudolph.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation care was by Peaslee Alton Funeral Home.
