On Sunday May 21, Robert S. Wakefield Jr. passed away at the age of 60 after many years of dealing with heart failure.
Robert was born on Dec. 4,1962, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Robert S. Wakefield Sr. and Madelyn (Mariano) Draper. He was a fisherman and loved taking care of his many aquariums. He worked most of his life as a diesel mechanic and delivery driver before he was unable to work due to his heart disability.
He leaves behind his wife Jessica; his children, Thomas, Kerry, Kristopher and Abigail; his granddaughter, Adalee; his brother, Rick and his significant other Diane; his sisters, Kathy and Sue; his in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and his father-in-law.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 29, from noon to 4 p.m., at the Tioga Pavilion on Mill Street in Belmont.
