GILFORD — Peter "Ronnie" Karatsanos, 86, of Morrill Street, passed away at his home on Oct. 10, 2025.
Ronnie was born on Dec. 15, 1938, in Portland, Maine, the son of Peter and Eleanor (Cassidy) Karatsanos.
He enjoyed sports, motor sports, was an avid reader and enjoyed yard work.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara (Cotting) Karatsanos, sons Ken Karatsanos (Winsor) and his wife Rebecca, and James Karatsanos and his wife Marie, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild on the way and his beloved cat Mocha. He was predeceased by his parents.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Belknap Mountain Road. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Granite VNA, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, NH 03301, or to the New Hampshire Humane Society, P.O. Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247.
