CAMPTON — Patricia Maye Derosia, 80, died suddenly in her home on Sept. 25, 2026. She was born on Dec. 20, 1945, to Harvey Walter and Hazel Rosella (Celley) Langmaid in Hardwick, Vermont. She grew up and went to school in the Lyndonville area. She resided in Vermont until she moved to Ashland, in 1965.
In March of 1967, Patricia married John Raymond Derosia. They resided in Ashland, for over 40 years, and raised their two sons there.
Patricia was employed at International Packing Co/Freudenberg NOK in the quality control department for many years.
Patricia was a quiet, thoughtful woman. She spent many hours helping John with his business, and spending that time with her husband provided her much joy. After her retirement, Patricia spent time crocheting beautiful blankets, pot holders, and many other things, and shared these with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed making jewelry and sharing her creations with family and friends. She and John adored their cat, Louis. In recent years, she treasured the time she spent with her beautiful cat, Bright Eyes. Bright Eyes was always first in her thoughts.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, John Raymond Derosia, in December 2021.
She is survived by her sons Lawrence J. Derosia (wife, Jacqueline) and John R. Derosia, three grandchildren, Nicole M. Derosia, Andrew L. Derosia, and Jane M. Derosia, her sister Shirley McCarty, brothers Ronald, David, Francis, Dennis, Stanley and Wayne Langmaid. She also leaves behind a dear friend, Nicole Dosti, who was always there to help Pat get where she needed to go and provide friendship.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, in the Dupuis Funeral Home, 11 Hill Ave., Ashland.
