Miss Clough was born September 1, 1917 in Laconia, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Sherburne) Clough. As a young girl, she lived in Campton, and became a homemaker. Upon her father’s death in 1962, she went to live with her aunt and uncle, Iona and King Little at their well-known blueberry farm in
Gilmanton, where she was welcomed with warm and loving arms. She enjoyed the simple things in life, flowers, birds, fishing, and most of all her close friend, Jessica, who would have lunch with her everyday. She was a child of the earth who never wore a frown and always had good words. Her little laugh and smile will be missed by many. We miss you and love you, Aunty.
he leaves behind her lifetime companion, William Hackett, and her cousin and care taker, Arlene Hunkins, both of Gilmanton. She was predeceased by her parents and by a sister, Helen Clough.
