LACONIA — Linda Marlene Laflamme, 77, of Hillcrest Drive, passed away surrounded by family on April 16, 2025, at Concord Hospital–Laconia.

Linda was born on July 31, 1947, in Laconia, the daughter of Floyd Wilbur Dearborn and Virginia May (Brainerd) Dearborn.

She grew up in Weirs Beach with many relatives close by in the neighborhood. In 1965, she graduated from Laconia High School, then that August married her sweetheart, Thomas Edward Laflamme, at St. Joseph’s Church in Laconia.

Linda enjoyed traveling immensely. Some of her favorites were riding in an open cockpit biplane over the Outer Banks of North Carolina and seeing Paris from atop the Eiffel Tower. Linda was an avid gardener and bird watcher. She enjoyed being outdoors in the warm weather and loved boating on Lake Winnipesaukee. Her love of animals was something that gave her great happiness. She had three cats and many friendly backyard squirrels and chipmunks. Linda was a proud supporter of the New Hampshire Humane Society and the NH Audubon Association.

Linda is survived by her son Tommy Laflamme; daughters Christine Laflamme and Leah Gorneau; brother Dan Dearborn; grandchildren Brandon Conder, Rachel Lazar, Breanna Conder, Avery Gorneau and Devin Conder; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda is predeceased by her husband ,Thomas Laflamme, and her sister, Patricia Ann Dearborn.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, at Bayside Cemetery, Union Avenue.
