ALEXANDRIA — Kristen Michelle (née LaFrance) Panaggio, 58, passed away Jan. 7, 2025, at her home after a lengthy battle with dementia.

Kristen was born June 3, 1966, in Nashua, to Raymond and Jane (née Pawlukièwicz) LaFrance. She was a graduate of Nashua Senior High School, class of 1984, where she excelled at track and field. She started her career in finance at Beneficial Finance in the early '90s. Kristen went on to work at Triangle Credit Union in Nashua. She continued to work in finance at Meredith Village Savings Bank until 2015, where she met her very great friend Bette Muise, as well as others. After a life in finance, Kristen worked at The Newfound Country Store, she enjoyed all the people and animals she met along the way.

Kristen married Andrew Panaggio in Nashua, on Oct. 19, 1991. Kristen and Andy met at Fare Lanes where she worked part-time. After getting married Kristen and Andy had two children, who they raised in Alexandria.

Kristen was an avid cook and baker, taking after her father. She truly thrived in the kitchen, showing her love through the meals and treats she would make for her family. Most of all she loved to cook authentic Polish cuisine with recipes that were passed down from her grandmother. Her meals will be greatly missed. Kristen had a deep love for '80s rock, only allowing her music to be played on any car ride. This love of '80s rock music she shares with her son. Kristen had a passion for stained glass. She created many beautiful pieces, often spending hours crafting the perfect piece for someone. Her artwork is still enjoyed by her loved ones.

Kristen is predeceased by her father, Raymond LaFrance, and her grandmother, Blanche Pawlukièwicz.

In addition to her mother Jane LaFrance, she is survived by her husband Andrew Panaggio, daughter Kendall (Eli) Schaffner, son Nicholas (Shannon Griffiths) Panaggio, grandchildren Lennox and Ripp Schaffner, sister Tarin (Richard) LaFrance Smart, aunts Patricia Pawlukièwicz and Fran (Norm) Beaulieu, and cousins James (Steph Chase) and William (Lauren Epstein) Beaulieu.
