MANCHESTER — Kevin A. McCue, 72, unexpectedly passed away at his home in Manchester on Sept. 2, 2024.
Kevin was born on Sept. 18, 1951, in New Jersey, to the late Edwin J. and Shirley (Colucci) McCue.
Kevin grew up in North Andover, Massachusetts, and graduated from Northeastern University in 1974. Over the years he worked in management for several trucking companies in the Northeast. While he was living in Pennsylvania he earned a master’s degree in human resources from the University of Scranton. He also met the love of his life, Maribeth Watkins. Several years after their marriage in 1990, they moved to New Hampshire, eventually settling in Manchester. In his younger years, Kevin played softball, skied, golfed, and spent many happy hours boating on Lake Winnipesaukee. He loved American history, Corvettes, dogs, and The Three Stooges (always Curly, never Shemp).
Kevin is survived by his son Trevor E. McCue of Manchester. He is also survived by his sisters: Colleen Anderson and her husband Richard, of Charlton, Massachusetts, Christine Divincenzo and her husband Joseph, of Seabrook, and Nancy McCue and her partner Paul Wooten, of Moultonborough. In addition to his parents, Kevin is predeceased by his beloved wife Maribeth McCue.
There will be a brief graveside service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, at Holland Hill Cemetery, in Moultonborough.
