LACONIA — Kenneth F. Martel, 82, of Pickerel Pond Road, passed away on Feb. 4, 2024, at Concord Hospital in Concord.
Kenneth was born on May 7, 1941, in Laconia, the son of Aime and Rachel (Guyer) Martel.
He worked for 47 years for the city of Laconia Public Works Department, retiring in 2006.
Kenneth is survived by his son Glenn Martel and his significant other Danae Bryar, daughter Andrea Gelotte and her husband Dana, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Robert Martel and Roger Martel and his wife Peggy, sister LuAnne Kabachis and her husband Jan, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kenneth is predeceased by his beloved wife Linda (Ouellette) Martel, son Jeffrey Martel, and his brothers Patrick Martel and Richard Martel.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street.
