K. Julie Bernache, 88

K. Julie (Mafera) Bernache, age 88, entered into eternal life on May 20, 2024. Julie grew up in Revere, lived in Braintree for many years before moving to Bridgewater 30 years ago. Julie was a summer resident of Newfound Lake for 50 years.

Julie graduated from Salem State College and received a master's degree from Suffolk University. Mrs. Bernache taught business at both Quincy and North Quincy High School. She was a member of the Senior Painters of Bridgewater. Beloved wife of the late William J. Bernache. Devoted mother of Richard and his wife Michele of Rockland, David of Abington and Robert of Bridgewater. Loving grandmother of Rachele, Richard, Dylan and Nicole. Beloved sister of Stephen Mafera of Leesburg, Indiana, Linda Field of Plainville, Claudia Fitzsimmons of North Attleboro, and Diane Packer of Naples, Florida, and the late Concetta Bilotta.

Funeral service at the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., Weymouth, Massachusetts, at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, with visiting just prior from 9 to 11:15 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial to follow at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree, Massachusetts.
