BELMONT — Julijone Dorothy Flanders, 81, of Autumn Drive, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family who loved her on Aug. 2, 2025, to be with the Lord.

Julijone was born on Aug. 7, 1943, in Laconia, the daughter of the late Alex Rudzinski and Maria (Elwell) Rudzinski.

Julijone enjoyed butterflies, wildlife, yard sales and car rides with Paul and Loki. She enjoyed raising her kids the most.

Julijone is survived by her sons, Wayne Blanchette and his wife Linda of Conway, and Eric Blanchette of Florida; daughters Amy Rogers and her husband Randy of Laconia, Jacqueline Cialdea and her husband Bill of North Conway, and Stephanie Flanders and her significant other Rob Partridge of Rochester; sisters Veronica Rudzinski of Belmont, Charlene Lizotte of Laconia, and Priscilla Rudzinski; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; significant other Paul Vaillancourt; and her beloved dog Loki. In addition to her parents, Julijone is predeceased by her son Mark Blanchette, sister Aleta Rudzinski, and her second husband Thomas Flanders.

Calling hours will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at St. Andre Bessette Parish – Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave., Laconia.

A graveside service will follow at St. Lambert Cemetery, Province Street, Laconia.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 20, after services, at Leavitt Park, 334 Elm St., Laconia.
