GILFORD — Judith “Judy” I. Dal Pan, 70, of 2761 Lakeshore Road, died after a brief illness at the Lakes Regional General Hospital, Laconia on Tuesday, August 28, 2007.
Mrs. Dal Pan was born October 1, 1936 in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, the daughter of George and Hannah (Matlack) Bates. She lived in Westford, Massachusetts for several years before moving to Gilford nineteen years ago. She was employed as a private secretary for the Ansin family, owners of Joan Fabric, Lowell, Massachusetts, for twenty-seven years, retiring in 1988.
Mrs. Dal Pan loved animals and enjoyed the mountains and lake viewed from Lakeshore Park in Gilford.
Mrs. Dal Pan is survived by her husband, Florindo “Dale” Dal Pan, of Gilford; a stepdaughter, Kathleen Gregorin, and her husband, Dale, of New Jersey; three grandchildren, Matthew Gregorin, Jill Gregorin and Tricia Gregorin, all of New Jersey; a nephew and a niece, Donald Bates and Barbara Bates, and a sister-in-law, Sandra Bates, all of Alabama. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Donald Bates.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, New Hampshire.
A Funeral Service will be held following the calling hours at Noon at the Gilford Community Church, 19 Potter Hill Road, Gilford, NH.
Burial will follow in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, N. H.
