BOCA RATON, Fla. — Jessica (Fleming) Miller, 60, died March 2, 2005 at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, with family at her side. She was the daughter of Howard and the late Barbara (Patty) Miller.
Born in Harrisburg, Ill., she grew up in Pasadena, Calif. and graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Ore. and the University of Michigan. She was a retired elementary school teacher, having taught in
Michigan and Virginia.
Jessica lived in Hawaii for 15 years before moving to Seattle and then settled in Boca Raton, Fla. three years ago. She was an enthusiast of African grey parrots. She will be remembered for her warm smile and generosity and for the comfort and ease she brought people.
Jessica is survived by her father, Howard Miller, of Seattle, Wash.; her sister, Patty Miller, and brother-in-law,
Dennis Murphy, of Center Harbor, and their daughter, Erika Murphy of Attleboro, Mass.; her sister, Janet Miller, of Pennington, N.J.; her brother, John Miller, and sister-in-law, Karen Sheridan and their daughter, Maia
Miller, of Seattle, Wash.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
