LACONIA — Jeannette I. Roberts, 92, of 30 County Drive, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Tuesday, April 1, 2003.

Miss Roberts was born July 10, 1910 in Rochester, the daughter of Harry and Edith (Conners) Roberts. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire. Miss Roberts was a high school English teacher for twenty-five years. Her first teaching position was in Alton, and she later moved to Middletown, Conn. where she taught until her retirement in 1975. In 1992, she moved to Laconia.

Survivors include three nephews, David Roberts of Farmington, Donald R. Minor of Gilford, and Jack Rief of Florida; and two nieces, Gwen Jones of Alton, and Gail Babin of Littleton. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Roberts; two sisters, Shirley Recks and Marjorie Rief; a nephew, Richard Roberts and by a niece, Jean Barnes.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at the family lot at Pine Grove Cemetery, Farmington, NH. on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at 11:00 a.m.
