Isabel "Dolly" O'Donnell, 82

MEREDITH — Isabel "Dolly" O' Donnell, 82, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016, at Lakes Region General Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born in Somerville, Massachusetts, but lived the greater part of her life in Lynn, Massachusetts, where she was a social worker for many years.

Isabel was predeceased by her husband, Officer Frank O' Donnell, late of Peabody, Massachusetts; and her two sons, Kevin and Scott Garvey, both late of Lynn, Massachusetts.

Isabel is survived by her four sons, Robert Remson and his wife Susette of Moultonborough, Kenneth Remson of Meredith, and his girlfriend Annelo of Moultonborough, John Remson and his wife Holly of Meredith, and David Garvey and his fiancee Neena Knowlton of southern New Hampshire; her brother, Robert Gorton and his wife Pat of Georgetown, Massachusetts; and her cousin, Linda Eastman and her husband Harry of Franklin. Isabel leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Our mother was a very beautiful women and you could never talk about her without discussing her beauty. Hence, she received the name "Dolly" at a very early age. At 40 (pictured above) our mother's beauty was as radiant as ever. Many could not look at Dolly, our mother, without being captivated by her beauty. Hundreds over the years said to her sons and others that she is "the most beautiful woman they have ever seen." They were right.

Per Isabel's "Dolly's" request there will be no calling hours.
