BELMONT — Helen Mae Ellsworth, 93, of Belmont, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026.
Helen was born on Sept. 24, 1932, in Laconia, the daughter of the late Charles and Hattie (Rollins) Stone.
Helen found joy in the simple pleasures of life and was known for her welcoming spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sharing stories and memories, camping, snowmobiling, attending family gatherings, and creating lasting traditions with her children and grandchildren. Helen appreciated the beauty of the Lakes Region she called home and treasured time spent with friends and neighbors.Â
Helen is survived by her daughters, Kim Ellsworth and her partner Dana Powers, and Cheryl Rouse; her sons Wendell Ellsworth Jr., and Scott Ellsworth and his partner Karen Constant; along with 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who will cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her husband, Wendell Ellsworth Sr., her daughter Debbie Ellsworth, her sons Michael Ellsworth and Jeffrey Ellsworth Sr., grandson Joshua Ellsworth, and her brother James Stone.Â
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 12, at Bayside Cemetery in Laconia.
