Franklin E. Hildreth, 94, of Dade City, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 28, 2026, at Rucki Hospice.

He was born on July 6, 1932, in Laconia, to Charles Hildreth and Flora Bemis.

Frank graduated from Laconia High School in 1952, and proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956. Following his military service, he devoted more than 70 years to his profession as a barber, a career through which he became a familiar face and friend to many in the communities he served.

On May 22, 1994, Frank married Norma Haddock Hildreth. Together they shared 32 years of marriage built on love, faith, and companionship.

Frank enjoyed writing poems, playing golf, and telling stories. He loved sharing memories and conversations with family and friends and was known for his gift of storytelling. His greatest pride was being a child of Christ, and his faith remained the foundation of his life.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Norma Hildreth; his children, Teri Hoyt, Laurie Gilbert, Sherry Davis, and Shawn Hildreth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Hildreth and Flora Bemis; his brothers and sister; and his son, Michael.
