NORTHFIELD — Edward (Eddie) Bernard Mahoney, 57, of Northfield, died at his home on April 27, 2008.

Eddie was born in Woodbury, New Jersey on April 2, 1951 the son of Thomas B. and Ida (Helmholtz) Mahoney. He was raised in Franklin and moved to Northfield when he married the love of his life, his wife Donna.

Eddie was a graduate of Franklin High School where he was captain of the basketball team. He later played on many area adult basketball teams. He was an employee of Watts Regulator in Franklin. Eddie enjoyed playing pool, competitive darts, computer technology, and fixing things for others. Most of all, he enjoyed being with and caring for the loves of his life, his wife Donna and his son Chris.

Family members include his wife Donna (Robinson) Mahoney of Northfield; his son Christopher Mahoney of Northfield, his sisters: Theresa A. Mahoney of Laconia and Patricia (Mahoney) Swain of Phoenix, AZ, his brothers: Micheal Mahoney of Concord and Thomas B. (Skip) Mahoney III of Sanbornton, his mother-in-law, June (Robinson) Fales of Northfield, nieces, nephews, and his best friend, Charles (Chuckie) Farmer of Franklin.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, May 2nd from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, NH.

Donations in memory of Mr. Mahoney may be made to American Diabetes Assn., 249 Canal St., Manchester, NH 03101.
