Duane D. Osgood, USMC, 57, passed away on Nov. 18, 2025.

Raised in Lexington, Massachusetts, he lived the last decade of his life in Apache Junction, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother, Susan Osgood; his stepmother, Diane Higgins; and his beloved dog, King.

He is survived by his father, Bernard Osgood of Laconia; his sister, Kerri Osgood; his brother, Christian Martin; his half-siblings, Ashley Slater and Sean McIver; and many loving family and friends.

Duane proudly served multiple tours in the Marine Corps. He studied at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida, earning several degrees. He loved restoring cars and had a deep affection for all animals. Quiet, loyal and protective. Duane was a man of few words, with a sharp wit, a generous heart, and a smirk. He cherished his lifelong friendship with Eric and Wendy Messina and was Uncle Duane to their kids. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the National Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E. Pinnacle Peak Road, Phoenix, Arizona.
