Cynthia Hart Beebe, 83, of Broadview Terrace in Gilford, passed away at her home on June 19, 2024.
Cynthia was born on April 21, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Cyril and Nan (Alcott) Hart. Cynthia owned and operated Cynthia Beebe Interiors for many years and took great pride in her work. When she and her husband Ned retired, they became snowbirds, traveling between Naples, Florida, and Gilford, each year.
She enjoyed painting, her friends, and life on Lake Winnipesaukee. She always took great joy in spending time with her family, especially her nieces and grandchildren.
Cynthia is survived by her sons Peter Beebe and his wife Karrie, and Jonathan Beebe; her brother Frederick Hart and his wife Carolyn; nieces Jane Habert and her husband John, Julie Hart and her husband Ricardo Moreira, Teryl Scott and her husband Ron, Kerena Higgins and her husband Damon; grandchildren Chellsy Beebe Moll, Christopher Quante, Taran Beebe and Dane Beebe; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Cynthia is predeceased by her beloved husband Edmund “Ned” Beebe.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Governor's Island Clubhouse, 500 Edgewater Drive, Gilford.
