Constance S. Thompson, 84

Constance S. Thompson, 84, of Concord, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, after a brief illness. Born one of three daughters to Harvey and Phyllis (Jenkinson) St. Lawrence, Connie spent her early years in numerous New Hampshire towns before the family settled in Bristol. Following her 1958 graduation from Bristol High School, she went on to graduate from Empire Beauty School in Laconia and open Connie’s Coiffures in Bristol. In 1978, she and the shop moved to Hillsboro, where she lived until moving to Concord in 2013.

Connie was always busy! She spent time cooking, canning and baking in the kitchen, often making cakes for family and friends. Her hands were never idle. She spent her free time sewing, crafting, crocheting and hooking rugs, and again, friends and family were gifted many of her beautiful creations.

Family members include her husband of 46 years, Terrence “Terry” Thompson of Concord; daughter, Debra Smith of Bradenton, Florida; sisters Betty Morrison of Bristol and Sandy Newhall of Laconia, several nieces and nephews.

At Connie's wish, a private interment will take place in the spring at Harvey Memorial Cemetery in Hillsboro.
