MEREDITH — Charlotte "Marie" (Barneetz) Bushnell, 92, passed away Dec. 17, 2014, at Golden View Health Care Center.
Marie was born in Newbury, Vt., the daughter of Adolf and Charlotte (Green) Barneetz. She lived most of her life in Meredith and surrounding areas, although at various times during the 1960s, she lived in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
In addition to raising eight children, Marie worked for Annalee Dolls for many years until her retirement.
Marie is survived by three sons, Arthur and his wife, Donna, Peter and his wife, Julie, and David and his wife, Leah; two daughters, Carol Bushnell, and Brenda Carrasco; a sister, Jeannette Tyler; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her former husband, Richard Bushnell Sr.; her eldest son, Richard Bushnell Jr.; two daughters, Patricia Longley and Barbara Hounsell; a grandson, Jacob Guay; and two brothers, Paul Barneetz and Frank Corliss.
There will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
