Brian C. Betterley, born in Lakewood, New Jersey, on Sept. 9, 1963, died peacefully on July 30, 2024, at Concord Hospital-Laconia.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, Charles and Theda Betterley, and James and Hazel McCall; his father, Charles B. Betterley Jr.; his siblings, Melissa Day and Adam Donninger; and his nephew, Harry Stockbridge.Â
He survived by his children, Joshua, Christopher and Melissa Betterley; his mother, Carol McCall; his brother, Ben Betterley (Lisa Oulette); sisters, Tina Olson (Karl) and Jamie Campbell (Chris); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Brian served in the Army as a young man. He found his way to Buffalo, New York, where he married and became a family man. He enjoyed fishing, classic cars, especially his 1980 Chevy Camaro, music, nature, animals and family. He made a living as a long-distance truck driver and enjoyed being an owner-operator. He found his way to New Hampshire after a period of declining health, spending his last years with his mother and siblings.Â
A private memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6.Â
