GILFORD — Arthur Ernest Perron, 75, passed away on Feb. 19, 2026, at home, surrounded by his loved ones.

Arthur was born on Feb. 16, 1951, in New Britain, Connecticut, the son of Joseph Arthur Perron and Theresa Marie (Desrochers) Perron.

Arthur began working as a logger for Peter Pierce, ran Art’s BP Gas Station, worked for Pike Industries, G2S, and retired as a millwright for Bridgewater Power. He was certified in diving, welding, and underwater construction.

Arthur could fix anything — except dinner. He was a true jack of all trades. He and his wife built their house, completing all the work together. Arthur made maple syrup, kept bees, crafted mead, and enjoyed photography. He was a wonderful husband, father, and pepere, attending many sporting events, plays, concerts, and graduations. He also enjoyed the companionship of family pets.

An avid sportsman, Arthur enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, kayaking, croquet, woodworking, snowmobiling, and motorcycle racing. He was a Yankees fan and made friends wherever he went. He was a long-time member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and volunteered for Gunstock Nordic Association.

Arthur loved traveling with his wife, RVing to National Parks, Canada and Florida. They also visited Ireland, Iceland and Alaska. He treasured time at camp, enjoying wildlife, friends, cribbage, sunsets, and collecting rocks and beach glass.

Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Beverly (Corriveau) Perron; son Brett Perron and wife Jessica; daughter Amy Keene and wife Jodie; sisters Rita Thibodeau and Bettyann Ouellette; brother-in-law Ronnie Jambard; grandchildren Clayton, Ava, Lyla, Allen and Pierce Perron, Watson and Landry Keene; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Linda Jambard.

Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.

A celebration of life will follow.
