Anne M. Morrissette, 50

GILFORD — Anne Marie (Morency) Morrissette, 50, passed away Jan. 31, 2024.

She was born May 7, 1973, in Laconia, the daughter of Ferdinand Morency and Joan E. (Valliere) Rand.

Anne graduated from Laconia High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. She worked as an occupational therapist in the health care field at Concord Hospital-Laconia for many years.

Anne enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and time at the lake and in the sun.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Peter Morrissette; son, Tyler Morrissette; daughter, Kendall Morrissette; sister, Lynn Monier; and her father, Ferdinand Morency. She was predeceased by her mother, Joan Rand.

Calling hours will be held Monday, Feb. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m., in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia.

For those who wish to send flowers, the family requests any brightly colored flowers, especially roses.
