LACONIA — With the exciting start of spring, the We Care initiative of Temple B’nai Israel is proud to announce its first benefit concert of 2026.

Yellow Brick Road, a premier Elton John tribute band, is set to deliver an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and community connection on Saturday, May 23, at 7:30 p.m. at Laconia High School. The high-energy performance will celebrate the iconic hits and flamboyant style that made Elton John a global superstar, while raising critical funds for the Laconia Police Relief Association.

“This concert reflects what We Care is all about — bringing the Lakes Region community together for an enjoyable, high-quality musical experience that also raises important funds for nonprofit organizations doing amazing work right here in our community,” said Stu Needleman, committee chair of the We Care Initiative. “We’re thrilled to kick off 2026 with an Elton John tribute, and honored to support our law enforcement officers who serve and protect the Lakes Region.”

All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Laconia Police Relief Association, which provides assistance to officers injured in the line of duty, family members facing serious illness or injury, and many community initiatives.

“The financial support generated by this concert will have a direct and lasting impact on our officers, their families, and the broader community we serve,” said Tony Horan, detective with the Laconia Police Department. “We are incredibly grateful to the We Care Initiative and to everyone who attends this concert for assisting our efforts.”

Tickets are available online and at select retail locations in the Lakes Region. Visit tbinh.org/we-care-concerts for more information.
