LACONIA — Local singer-songwriter Katie Dobbins has been nominated for Performer of the Year at the New England Music Awards. This recognition celebrates artists who have made a significant impact on the New England music scene through their talent, dedication, and contributions to the community.
Dobbins, known for her heartfelt folk-pop songs rooted in hope and storytelling, has been steadily growing her career across New England and beyond. Her music has touched audiences at local venues like Bank of NH Pavilion, The Belknap Mill, Hermit Woods Winery, and numerous festivals, while also resonating online with listeners around the world.
“I’m deeply honored to be recognized among so many incredible artists,” said Dobbins. “I grew up in this area, and the Lakes Region community has supported me since the very beginning. I wouldn’t be here without them. This nomination feels like a celebration for all of us.”
