Chain bracelet making class in Meredith

The Meredith Fine Craft Gallery will host a sterling chain bracelet making class on Saturday, May 30. Students will learn the skills to make a handmade chain for a bracelet or necklace using pliers and sterling silver wire. Two types of chain will be shown, plus a demo of how to add a center bead, squiggle, or spiral. Patrons will also make a hook-and-eye clasp so they can wear the bracelet when they're done. This class will last from 10 a.m. to noon. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. In this one-day workshop, students will learn the skills to make a beautiful handmade chain for a bracelet or necklace using pliers and sterling silver wire. Two types of chain will be shown, plus a demo of how to add a center bead, squiggle, or spiral. Patrons will also make a hook-and-eye clasp so they can wear the bracelet when they're done.
