Quality Care Home Health & Hospice is seeking volunteers to share their hearts and time with neighbors who are at the end of life and their loved ones. Interest sessions will be held on Friday, Feb. 13 from 1 to 2 p.m. or Wednesday, Feb. 18 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the agency office 12 Main St. Unit 12 in Center Harbor.

“If your heart pulls you toward this sacred passage of life in some way, we hope you will consider joining us,” said Dan Kusch, volunteer coordinator. “This is a beautiful opportunity to make small moments of ease and joy possible for individuals and their families.”

Volunteers choose the types of connections and time commitment that is right for them.

Opportunities include offering companionship, moments of respite for caregivers, or assistance with errands. Volunteers are also encouraged to share unique gifts ― to sing, play a musical instrument, make art or food, write ― or the simple gift of listening.

Veterans are especially welcomed to honor the experiences and stories of other veterans.

There are also opportunities to support this work in the office or to support loved ones in their grief through phone calls, letters, support groups, or special events.

For more information and to register, call Dan Kusch at 603-707-9655 ext. 108.
