Nearly 500 attendees explored four exceptional properties in East Alton and Wolfeboro during Granite VNA’s annual Hospice Home & Garden Tour on July 15. The tour raised more than $40,000 to support the agency’s hospice services.

Guests enjoyed an afternoon experiencing rich history through architecture and thoughtfully designed and renovated interiors and taking in stunning views of Lake Winnipesaukee from three of the properties. Each house presented a unique personality, featuring artistic décor, comfortable interiors, blending present-day comfort and amenities with original features such as exposed beams and stone foundations, complemented by exquisite grounds.

“This year’s Home and Garden Tour was our most successful to date, and all funds raised help Granite VNA provide critical hospice services to people across the region,” said Hospice Home and Garden Tour volunteer co-chairperson Karen Haskell of Wolfeboro.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, to our Lakes Region neighbors who welcomed us to explore their properties, and to the army of dedicated volunteers who make this cherished event possible each year. Everyone involved made our first year as co-chairs incredibly special, and we are already looking forward to next year,” said co-chair Leigh Hesler, of Wolfeboro.

Planning for the 2027 Hospice Home & Garden Tour, currently set for July 14, 2027, is already underway. The planning committee is seeking Lakes Region homeowners who are willing to open their homes and properties for the tour.
