“Partners with God, rooted in trust” is the theme of a women’s interfaith prayer breakfast to be hosted at St. Joseph’s Church on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 9 a.m.
"At this time of autumn we see how trees and plants deepen their roots in preparation for the winter ahead. So, we too, in the autumn of our lives need to deepen our rootedness, in God," the announcement states. "Through prayer, song, and stories we will share the ways we deepen our trust in God, and become strengthened to face our personal challenges in an increasingly complex world."
For reservations contact by Monday, Oct. 16, either Marilyn Lamere at 524-3770 (e-mail pandmlamere@metrocast.net) or Sue Jacobs at 528-1826 (e-mail ritasuejacobs@yahoo.com)
St. Joseph’s Church is located on Route 140.
