The Weirs United Methodist Church is sponsoring a mens' breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, which will be followed a talk by Rev. Dave Daley. He will discuss the value of family — how this unit has become a very troubled and dysfunctional group of people.
The cure, Rev. Daley says, is simple but the work and patience with each other can be hard. The end result in nonetheless worth the time and energy.
"Image being glad to see each other each day, with a feeling of love and respect," says Rev. Daley. "Life is good if we choose to make it that way."
RSVPs will be helpful in ordering food, but no necessary. Call Ken Dyrsten at 366-4829.
