LACONIA — The Taylor Community will host a radio broadcast veteran on Wednesday, June 1, to discuss how journalism has changed over the past three decades.

Suzanne Roantree started her radio broadcast career in the Lakes Region at WEMJ more than 30 years ago. Today, technology has integrated itself into the world of journalism. How reporters gather and report the news you hear and read has been the biggest change in the broadcasting industry over the last 30 years.

On June 1, at 6:30 p.m., Roantree will give her take on how reporting the news over the years has become part of today's faster-paced life. The event is free and open to the public and will be held at Taylor Community's Woodside Building. RSVP by calling 524-5600.
