GILFORD — The Gilford Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring a Senior Moment-um trip to the Squam Lakes Science Center in Holderness on Monday, May 19.
The group will meet in the Gilford Town Hall Lobby before carpooling to the Science Center. Participants will get to take a self-guided tour on the animal exhibit trail and see the beautiful Kirkwood Gardens. Open meadows, mature forests, and marsh boardwalks connect interactive natural exhibits where native animals reside: black bears, mountain lions, raptors, river otters, bobcats, and more. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring your lunch. The cost is $10 per person and participants are asked to RSVP by Friday, May 16.
For more information or to RSVP, contact the Gilford Parks and Recreation Department at 527-4722.
