Beginning Wednesday, May 18, the Meredith Senior Center (MSC) will be accepting items for their annual Yard Sale. Items may be brought to MSC Wednesday and Thursday. (No clothing please and only items that are clean and in working order.)
Help is needed Wednesday and Thursday to sort, price and organize items for sale.
The Yard Sale will open this Friday, May 20 at 9:00 a.m. and close at noon.
During the month of May, MSC is sponsoring a Raffle to benefit the new Meredith Community Center. All proceeds from the Yard Sale and the Raffle will be donated to the Meredith Community Center, the future home of the Senior Lakers. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 and may be purchased at the Meredith Senior Center and at the Yard Sale. Participants will have the opportunity to choose which can to put their raffle tickets in.
Raffle items include:
• An exquisite, 20” hand painted vase signed, dated and donated by Donna Nedeau from HairWorks of Gilford
• a $20.00 gift certificate donated by George’s Diner
• a car wash coupon from Extreme Car Wash
• soothe away stress with a luxury heated foot spa, Sole Therapy PLUS
The Meredith Community Center Raffle will continue through May and June and the winners will be announced at the “Christmas in July” brunch Friday, July 15.
