A Teacher Open House will be held on Friday, August 3 at the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center to encourage New Hampshire teachers to find out all the advantages to scheduling a field trip for their students at the center. Teachers (including home school teachers) will receive one free trail admission and a 10-percent discount in the Howling Coyote Gift Shop. Bring a school ID, paycheck stub, or proof as a home school teacher.
The trails are open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and a special guided tour of the Gephart Exhibit Trail is scheduled at 1:30 p.m.. Call 603-968-7194 or email info@nhnature.org to reserve your spot on the tour.
