MEREDITH — The Lakes Region Retired Educators’ Association will meet on Tuesday, March 20, at Giuseppe’s Restaurant, in “The Grotto,” at Mill Falls in Meredith. The meeting will start at 11 a.m. with check-in starting at 10:30 a.m. Following the meeting, lunch will be served with choices from a special menu. The cost of the meal is $18.
The Phone Captains will be calling members for their reservations. Those interested in attending may also call Mary-Ellen Azem at 603-455-0972 or Sue Karsten at 603-254-6050 before March 14. The program will begin at approximately 12:45 p.m.
The speaker this month will be Dick Dunning, a retired principal from Peterborough. He will share his experiences and stories about his life as an 18-year-old going to Vietnam.
