Rebecca Carey assumed her new position as director of the Inter-Lakes Senior Center on Monday, July 9. “We believe that Becky comes to us with a number of excellent skills,” said Pam Jolivette, Director of Nutrition and Elder Services at the Belknap/Merrimack Community Action Program. “Her background is broad and her talents are relevant to the continued development of this active, community-focused senior center.”

Carey held a position with Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL as a special events coordinator. She has owned and operated two businesses and has worked as the promotions and events manager of the Town Square in Waterville Valley. She was also administrative assistant to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Plymouth State University and was campaign manager for a NH Senate candidate from NH District 2.

Everyone from Meredith, Center Harbor and New Hampton are urged to stop by the Inter-Lakes Senior Center to say hello to Rebecca Carey. The Center is located in the Meredith Community Center and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
