“Work as a Spiritual Journey” will be the sermon delivered by Anne Bewley, a Laconia psychotherapist, on Sunday, October 7 at the Uniterian-Universalist Society of Laconia. She will explore the questions: Why do we work? What does it mean to “make a living?” And what does our work — whatever that is for us — have to do with our spiritual growth?

Dr. Bewley has been an Air Force officer, a college professor teaching at Colby-Sawyer and is a licensed psychotherapist. The worship service will begin at 10 a.m.

The Unitarian-Universalist Society of Laconia is located at 172 Pleasant Street, right beside the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home. All are cordially invited to attend. For more information call 524.6488 or visit www.uusl.org.
