Gunstock Mountain Resort is welcoming in the new year with its Annual New Year’s Mountain Magic Eve party on Monday night, Dec 31. “With all the snow and winter weather this will be a fantastic event for the entire family”, says Greg Goddard, general manager of Gunstock Mountain Resort. “This all-inclusive event is one of the most interactive and fun ways to celebrate the New Year.” There will be many entertainment and activities, including skiing, riding, tubing, snowshoe tours, hay rides, live music by Hot Damn, the grand buffet, the Mountain Dew Music Fest, the Sobe Lizard Lounge (under 21), roving entertainers, a bonfire, s'mores and karaoke. It doesn’t stop there, as Gunstock also offers free (with reservations) child care, rentals and clinics on how to perfect that turn. “At midnight, Gunstock throws the best fireworks display on snow, coordinated by Nahoogaii fireworks”, says Bill Quigley, Director of Marketing and Sales. All inclusive pricing is: $85 for adults, $65 for teens aged 13-19, $40 for children (6-12), $20 for children (5 and younger). Season pass holders get 20-percent off.
