WOLFEBORO — The Governor Wentworth Arts Council is hosting their new event, Art & Bloom, on Saturday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wolfeboro Town Hall. There will be over 20 pieces of original GWAC art and their flower arrangements by master gardeners and floral designers in Grand Hall.
Art & Bloom is open to the public with an admission fee of $5. Youth 12 and under are free. Light refreshments will be served. At 11:30 a.m. Rebecca Carter will present a floral demonstration using an original piece of GWAC member artwork to create a fabulous piece of artwork out of flowers, a floral interpretation of what she sees in the piece of art. At 2 p.m., Helene Pierce, a local watercolorist, will present a watercolor painting demonstration. Most pieces of art will be for sale.
