HOLDERNESS — . Inspired by the TV show, Project Runway, Project Greenway is the battle of the green designers, hosted at Little Church Theater each summer. The 5th Annual Project Greenway is set for Thursday, July 24 at 7:30 p.m. The theme is "take an adventure and travel the world with your imagination!" Designers will choose a destination, create a design with the inspiration of travels to their location and bring it home to New Hampshire. All designers are invited to participate and the public is encouraged to attend and cheer them on.

The design contest rules focus on the environment and creativity:

Each design must incorporate five different types of recycled, reused and repurposed materials.

Judges will be looking for explanation of the materials and the creativity of how the designers put these materials together

The use of color, texture and uniqueness will be critical in the judging

The construction of the design is important but the 'outfit' does not have to be re-wearable

Use of accessories will also be a consideration.

A total $2,000 in cash prizes will be awarded in two age categories of 11-17 and 17 and over. First place for each category is $500, $300 for second place and $200 for third.

The contest registration fee is $25. Designers may register by calling the box office at (603) 968-2250 or emailing The Little Church Theater at littlechurchtheater@gmail.com. Attendees will be asked for donations of $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under to help support this event. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the the box office.

Organizer Austine Howard announced that television personality, award-winning author, floral and interior designer, Rebecca Cole will be this year's celebrity judge. Rebecca is an internationally renowned lifestyle and floral designer through her companies Rebecca Cole Design and worldwide as Cole Creates. Rebecca hosted all 200 shows for Discovery Channel's Surprise by Design and has appeared nearly as often on the Today Show.

"Each year the designers have surprised me and the other judges with their creativity! We are always mesmerized by the talent, the unique designs and the incredible creative use of materials," said Austine. "I would love to take them all to New York!"
