MEREDITH — The LakeTones Jazz Ensemble and the New Horizons Concert Band will present a family concert on Wednesday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Meredith Community Center.
Under the direction of Mary Divers, the concert band is continuing a series of spring concerts and Band Exchanges entitled, "Music for Life." The musical selections cover a variety of genres, from Military Marches to Gershwin, to the theme music from "A Game of Thrones," and in celebration of the 50th anniversary, "Highlights from the Sound of Music", as well as many more.
Although the concert is free of charge, donations are greatly appreciated and will be split equally between the Meredith Parks and Recreation Department and the Band to offset expenses.
