Three-day event highlights new products, services and trends related to home building and remodeling

Whether you’re ready to start building or just want to be inspired by the latest trends, you’ll find inspiration and connect with building professionals at the 2017 Lakes Region Parade of Homes.

Imagine the smallest project such as a closet, or new kitchen cabinets, to a back yard sanctuary, to a show stopping exterior. Need ideas for curb appeal? A man cave? A complete remodel? Whatever you can dream up, lakes region premier builders and industry pros can help make your dream a reality!

The Lakes Region Parade of Homes is set for Columbus Day weekend, Oct. 7-9, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. This self-guided tour showcases beautifully crafted homes built by premier Lakes Region builders.

Parade attendees can expect to see a wide variety of architectural styles and designs, beautiful settings, as well as innovative decorations and furnishings. Eleven homes in total are part of this year’s lineup and are located in the towns of Laconia, Meredith, Center Harbor, Moultonborough, Wolfeboro, Ashland and Hebron.

Whether you want ideas for your current home, are looking for your next home or just appreciate the craftsmanship of new homes, the Parade has something for everyone.

Executive Officer Brenda Richards of Lakes Region Builders and Remodelers Association said, “Our goal is simple — to produce the best construction industry home tour event! We are very excited to partner with so many terrific companies and connect hundreds of homeowners with building industry professionals. We know this has become a very popular tour for many local residents as well as visitors from all over New England and look forward to seeing familiar faces as well as new ones.”

Tickets are $20 per person (18 and under free), and can be purchased at any of the homes on the tour during Columbus Day weekend. One ticket is good at all homes all weekend. The proceeds of the ticket sales benefit the Lakes Region Builders Scholarships and workforce development – inspiring the next generation of building trade professionals.
