The 6th Annual Laconia Multicultural Market Day will be held at the Historic Belknap Mill, Rotary Riverside Park and other locations around Downtown Laconia on Saturday September 8 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

"A Celebration of Diversity", Market Day is an all-day festival with over thirty nations represented with cultural arts, crafts, foods, children's section, animals, entertainment, exhibits, social services and many musical performances. The day opens with a Parade of the Flags and ends with 6 p.m. concert with Santa Mamba, a Caribbean band.

The event is free and will be held rain or shine. It is hosted by Laconia Human Relations Committee, Historic Belknap Mill, Laconia Main Street and Laconia Public Schools. For more information, call 603-524-7683.
