Kendra Guay, who has been sending necessities and goodies to American soldiers deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan for the past five years, is offering her friends and neighbors in the community an opportunity to join her. From 8 until noon today, Guay will be at Package Plus at 77 Court Street where she will be accepting donations and sharing her correspondence with the men and women of the armed services who she has befriended over the years. Guay said that men's socks and toiletries, along with non-perishable snacks and foodstuffs, are especially appreciated by the troops overseas. Contributions towards the cost of shipping the packages are equally welcome.
