LACONIA — As part of the on-going Family Initiative Program which this past fall included classes pertaining to sharing family stores as well as the recent "Share Fare" where exhibitors shared family histories the Laconia Historical and Museum Society and Laconia Public Library will sponsor a three part seminar series.
The series will provide the basics of how to go about starting a family research project with forms to use and general record keeping guidelines, gathering information from public records and tips on using internet resources. The series is to be led by Richard and Cindi Cote and Don and Nancy Stephenson, experienced genealogists and will begin on Monday, April 7, 10 a.m. to noon at the Laconia Public Library. Continuing sessions will occur on May 5 and June 2.
This series is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is preferred. For more information about this event, call Laconia Library at 603.524.4775 or The Laconia Historical & Museum Society at 603.527.1278 or email www.lhmslpl@metrocast.net
